"Lentransproekt" (since 1951 - "Lengiprotrans") worked on the design of many objects in Kazakhstan. So, by the mid-1950s, a project was developed for plumbing workshops in Akmolinsk (since 2019 - Nur-Sultan), where components for engineering networks were produced.
In the postwar years, Lentransproekt (since 1951 - Lengiprotrans) continued to work in Kazakhstan. In 1948-1955, the electrical interlocking of forty-nine turnouts was developed at the Bolshaya Mikhailovka railway station of the Tselinnaya railway. The main goals of the project are to ensure the safety of train traffic, increase the station's capacity, and reduce the number of switchmen. Devices for blowing points were designed and the construction of an EC post at the station.
"Lentransproekt" (since 1951 - "Lengiprotrans") worked on the design of many objects in Kazakhstan. In the post-war years, according to his project, production facilities were built for impregnation of sleepers before laying and installing rail links 12.5 m long.
Lengiprotrans is the author of many railway projects in Kazakhstan. So, in the first half of the 1980s, engineers developed a project for the preparation of wagons for loading at the Ekibastuz-II station. The need for it was caused by a large number of cars for loading coal from open mines of the Ekibastuz railway junction. The implementation of the project contributed to the acceleration of the turnover of the freight car fleet.
Lengiprotrans has worked on the design of many facilities in Kazakhstan. One such facility, the carriage wheel shops at Tselinograd station, was designed in the early 1980s with the aim of organizing the repair of faulty wheelsets and carriage bogies for the safe operation of freight cars. The implementation of the project made it possible to prevent a reduction in the working fleet of wagons on the Tselinnaya railway.
Railway line Kostanay (now Kostanay) - Uritskoye - a section of the railway Kostanay - Kokchetav (now Kokshetau), designed by Lengiprotrans for the development of virgin lands in the Kazakh SSR and a number of adjacent regions in 1954-1980.
The section Kustanai - Uritskoe was completed in the 1970s and rebuilt to a wide track. In the same period, the institute designed a centralized control system for 125 switches at the site.
In 1951-1955, Lengiprotrans developed a project for a new railway line Ekibastuz - Irtyshskoe. The line was to become the southern part of the Omsk - Bessarabka (Irtyshskoe) - Ekibastuz highway. However, the survey and design along this line ended with the design assignment stage.
In 2013, Lengiprotrans provided engineering and consulting services for adjusting the feasibility study (FS) for the construction of a high-speed railway line (HSR) Astana - Almaty in Kazakhstan.
The feasibility study institute's adjustment mainly consisted of working out technical solutions for a maximum speed of 250 km / h. The specified parameters are more precisely defined: travel time - 5.5 hours, the number of trains - 6 pairs of trains per day, a single-track railway station with double-track inserts.
In 1979-1985, the Department of Plants (now part of the OPGS) of Lengiprotrans developed a project for the Tselinograd plant of reinforced concrete structures and building parts for Dorstroytrest. The enterprise was intended for the production of prefabricated reinforced concrete and concrete structures and products.
The Esil - Lomonosovskaya - Uritskoye railway line is a narrow-gauge railway that played a significant role in the first period of the development of the virgin lands of Kazakhstan.
The project of the railway line was transferred to Lengiprotrans from Zheldorproekt in connection with the merger in 1955.
In 1954, preliminary and final surveys were carried out on the priority section Esil - Lomonosovskaya with a length of 95 km. The design assignment was completed on February 18, 1955 and approved by the Ministry of Railways on April 25, 1955.
