In 2020, at a meeting between the Governor of the Kostroma Region and the General Director of Russian Railways, an agreement was reached on the technical re-equipment of the Kostroma station complex.

The design documentation was developed by Lengiprotrans JSC in 2021 under the leadership of the chief architect of the project for the industrial and civil buildings and structures department K.A. Balykina.

"Lentransproekt" (since 1951 - "Lengiprotrans") worked on the design of many objects in Kazakhstan. So, by the mid-1950s, a project was developed for plumbing workshops in Akmolinsk (since 2019 - Nur-Sultan), where components for engineering networks were produced. 

In the postwar years, Lentransproekt (since 1951 - Lengiprotrans) actively developed new projects. One of them was the construction project of the Gomel Electrotechnical Plant for the production of signaling devices and components for railway transport in the Byelorussian SSR.

One of them was the project of the Gomel steam locomotive repair plant of the USSR Ministry of Railways of the Belarusian Railway. The project was prepared and implemented in order to carry out all types of repairs for passenger and freight cars, thus increasing the working fleet of cars and ensuring traffic safety during the operation of the car fleet.

"Lentransproekt" (since 1951 - "Lengiprotrans") worked on the design of many objects in Kazakhstan. In the post-war years, according to his project, production facilities were built for impregnation of sleepers before laying and installing rail links 12.5 m long. 

In the post-war years, Lentransproekt (since 1951 - Lengiprotrans) actively developed projects to restore the USSR railway infrastructure. One of them was a project for the restoration and reconstruction of car repair shops at the Brest station of the Belarusian Railway. In the course of its implementation, all types of repairs were carried out for passenger and freight cars to increase the working fleet of cars, and traffic safety was ensured during the operation of the car fleet. 

In the post-war years, Lentransproekt (since 1951 - Lengiprotrans) was actively developing new projects. The engineers paid special attention to the reconstruction of railway infrastructure facilities. One of them was the Minsk Steam Locomotive Repair Plant. Its restoration and reconstruction was needed for all types of repairs of steam locomotives, as well as for the repair of passenger and freight cars.

In 2013, Lengiprotrans developed a project for the modernization of charging devices and testing brakes in the passenger and receiving and departure depot of the Shkirotava station of the Latvian branch of the Baltic Railway. The implementation of the project ensured the timely charging of the accumulator batteries of the passenger cars and their normal operation. The project provided for the safety of train traffic and the timely elimination of malfunctions of the brake system of freight and passenger cars.

Lengiprotrans is the author of many railway projects in Kazakhstan. So, in the first half of the 1980s, engineers developed a project for the preparation of wagons for loading at the Ekibastuz-II station. The need for it was caused by a large number of cars for loading coal from open mines of the Ekibastuz railway junction. The implementation of the project contributed to the acceleration of the turnover of the freight car fleet.

Lengiprotrans has worked on the design of many facilities in Kazakhstan. One such facility, the carriage wheel shops at Tselinograd station, was designed in the early 1980s with the aim of organizing the repair of faulty wheelsets and carriage bogies for the safe operation of freight cars. The implementation of the project made it possible to prevent a reduction in the working fleet of wagons on the Tselinnaya railway.
