In the 1960s, the former Lengiprotrans Plants Department developed a project for an electric locomotive depot in Norilsk. This was due to the beginning of the replacement of steam locomotives on the railway with diesel locomotives. In April 1961, the movement of electric trains to Oktyabrskaya Square in Norilsk was opened and the construction of an electric locomotive depot was completed.

In 1950-1970, the former Department of Lengiprotrans Plants participated in the design of facilities related to the post-war reconstruction of the railway industry, the development of production capacities of transport facilities, the transfer of railways from steam traction to diesel locomotive, the development of construction industry facilities and the design of special enterprises.

During this period, the department developed a project for a carriage depot at the Inta station of the Pechersk railway (since 1959 as part of the Northern Railway).

During this period, a project was developed for a car repair depot in Vorkuta, which is part of the structural division of the Northern Railway.

During this period, a project was developed for a carriage depot at the Sosnogorsk station of the Northern Railway.

Pskov is the station of the Vitebsk direction of the October railway. In the 1970s, Lengiprotrans developed a project for the reconstruction of a car repair depot at the station.

The following were designed and installed at the facility:
• conveyors in the wagon assembly shop for moving wagons from position to position and for rolling out bogies;

Danilov is a junction station for joining the genera of the current of the Northern Railway. The directions Moscow-Yaroslavskaya - Arkhangelsk and Danilov - Bui pass through it.

According to the Lengiprotrans project, a motor car depot was built at the station. Design and survey work began in 1971, when the site was designed: off-site sewerage, sewage treatment facilities, a water tower, engineering networks.

The main work was carried out in the 1980s and 1990s. A complex of facilities for the repair of rolling stock was designed at the station:

During this period, a project was developed for an electric locomotive depot in Kandalaksha.

On August 25, 1951, the Council of Ministers of the USSR adopted a resolution on the construction of the Titan - Yokanga railway line on the territory of the Kola Peninsula. The line was planned to provide transport links between the ice-free port of Yokanga and the railway network and to create a naval base there. In addition, the railway would facilitate the development of aluminum ore deposits in the center and east of the Kola Peninsula.

In the early 1990s, Lengiprotans developed a project for a high-speed highway Finland (Luzhaika) - Leningrad. However, the project was not implemented at that time for economic reasons. A feasibility study was carried out for road repairs.

Road Ledmozero - Kostomuksha - a section of the regional road Kochkoma - Ledmozero - Kostomuksha - the state border in Karelia. The highway connects the central regions of the republic and provides a link between the Kola highway and the state border with Finland.

In the 1970s Lengiprotrans developed a road project. During the same period, the institute designed the Ledmozero - Kostomuksha - state border railway line.

In 1976 the site was put into operation.
