Immediately after the end of the Great Patriotic War, the Department of Plants of "Lentransproekt" (since 1951 - "Lengiprotrans") developed a project for the reconstruction of a casting and mechanical plant for the production of containers in Kaunas.
The Velikie Luki Steam Locomotive Car Repair Plant (PVRZ) is an enterprise for the repair of various freight cars for the needs of railway transport. Its history begins with the arrival of the Moscow-Vindavskaya railway in Velikiye Luki in 1901, when the Main Railway Workshops for the repair of locomotives and carriages were created. In 1927, on the basis of workshops, the Velikie Luki steam locomotive repair plant was created.
The Oktyabrsky Steam Locomotive Repair Plant is the oldest of the factories of the Ministry of Railways (MPS) for the manufacture of rolling stock. It was founded in 1826 as part of the Alexandrovsky iron foundry, and in 1844 it was transferred to the Main Administration of Railways and renamed into the Alexandrovsky Main Mechanical Plant of the Petersburg-Moscow Railway.
The Kaliningrad refrigerated wagon depot is intended for servicing insulated trains with mechanical cooling. The depot project was developed by the Lengiprotrans Plants Department in 1950-1980.
In the postwar years "Lentransproekt" (since 1951 - "Lengiprotrans") carried out design work on the reconstruction of factories and the design of new ones in order to restore the country's industry. During this period, a project was developed for the workshop for rebuilding wheel pairs of steam locomotives and tenders of the German railways in Daugavpils.
During this period, the main elements of each plant project were:
• technological part;
• building part;
• plumbing: heating, ventilation, water supply and sewerage;
In the postwar years, Lentransproekt (since 1951 - Lengiprotrans) carried out design work to restore factories of various profiles. In particular, a project for the reconstruction of the Riga Electrotechnical Plant was developed.
During this period, the main elements of each plant project were:
• technological part;
• building part;
• plumbing: heating, ventilation, water supply and sewerage;
• energy part: power supply, heat supply and compressed air;
• communication;
• internal and external transport;
• general plan;
In the 1940s, Lentransproekt (since 1951 - Lengiprotrans) designed the restoration of the railway industry plants destroyed during the Great Patriotic War. In particular, a project was developed for the reconstruction of the Liepaja steam locomotive repair plant.
During this period, the main elements of each plant project were:
• technological part;
• building part;
• plumbing: heating, ventilation, water supply and sewerage;
• energy part: power supply, heat supply and compressed air;
• communication;
• internal and external transport;
The Daugavpils Steam Locomotive Car Repair Plant (PVRZ) was founded in 1866 as the Dvina main railway workshops of the Petersburg-Warsaw and Riga-Orlov railways. The company specializes in the repair of diesel locomotives and electric trains of various series.
In the 1940s, Lengiprotrans developed a project for the restoration of the Daugavpils PVRZ, which was destroyed during the Great Patriotic War.
During this period, the main elements of each plant project were:
• technological part;
• building part;
Immediately after the end of the Great Patriotic War, the Department of Plants of Lentransproekt (since 1951 - Lengiprotrans) developed a project for the restoration of a diesel train depot in Vilnius.
The restoration of the depots, destroyed during the war, was an urgent task on which the operation of the entire railway transport depended. In this regard, design work began, as a rule, immediately after the liberation of the cities and was carried out at the restoration site by small expeditions made up of employees of the institute.
The Kirishi washing and steaming station (PPS) is a structural subdivision of the St. Petersburg branch of the Oktyabrskaya railway. The project of the complex was developed by the Department of factories of Lengiprotrans for cleaning railway tank cars.
PPP Kirishi performs the following functions:
• cleaning of railway tank cars for loading oil products;
• preparation of tank cars for depot and overhaul;
• maintenance and repair of railway tank cars;
• processing of special wagons for bitumen;
• dry cleaning of workwear;
