The Universitet passenger stop is located at 35 km of the Baltic line of the Oktyabrskaya railway.
The project of the stopping point was developed by Lengiprotrans as part of the development of passenger facilities at the Leningrad (now St. Petersburg) railway junction in 1960-1970. The platform was designed with an area of 1680 sq. m.
