Railway station Pskov

Вокзал Псков

The Pskov station is part of the Oktyabrskaya Railway (OZhD), and, first built in 1859, it originally belonged to the Petersburg-Warsaw Mainline (sections of this mainline became part of the Oktyabrskaya Railway).

During the Great Patriotic War, the Pskov railway junction and the station building were badly damaged. In 1945, the front-line group "Lentransproekt" (since 1951 - "Lengiprotrans") began design work for the restoration. Directly in "Lentransproekt" they continued until 1948. In the same period, the reconstruction of the bridge over the Velikaya River near Pskov was carried out.

Later, Lengiprotrans's participation in the design of the Pskov railway junction, reconstruction of the railway station, depot facilities and communications continued throughout the entire range of design and survey work until 1993.
