Lengiprotrans has been involved in the reconstruction and development of the Kaliningrad railway junction for decades, starting from the post-war period.
In 1951, the institute designed the reconstruction of the power transmission line at the crossings over the railway line in the Kaliningrad junction.
In 1968-1976, large design and survey work was carried out for the track development of the junction.
During the survey, laboratory analyzes of soil and water were carried out, and a diagram of the location of wells was prepared.
During this period, the following were designed in the Kaliningrad node:
• central distribution point 6 kv with reconstruction of the power supply of the unit;
• transformer substations, power supply schemes;
• subgrade;
• artificial constructions;
• signaling and communication devices.
In 1986-1990, a long-distance cable line was installed at the railway junction.
