In the 1980s, Lengiprotrans designed the Urengoy - Nadym - Sovetsky highway. The road starts from the Urengoyskaya main compressor station (GCS) in the area of the city of Novy Urengoy and ends at the Komsomolskaya compressor station in the area of the Sovetsky village near the existing Ivdel - Ob'ye railway line of the Sverdlovsk railway. The motor road runs along the route of the Southern Corridor of the main gas pipelines and is intended for servicing compressor stations.

The road was designed according to category IV standards, which implies a slow road with two traffic lanes. The width of the carriageway is 6 m. The roadbed with a width of 10 m was built. The road surface along the highway was envisaged from PAG-14 slabs on a sand-cement base with a thickness of 18-20 cm. Construction was divided into four stages in the period from 1984 to 1991.
