Railway line Riga - Ogre - section of the line Riga - Aizkraukle - Krustpils of the Latvian Railway.

In 1959, according to the Lengiprotrans project, the Riga - Ogre section was electrified for a DC voltage of 3 kV. In the same period, the institute at the site developed a coded automatic blocking of alternating current.

Daugavpils Steam Locomotive Car Repair Plant (PVRZ) was founded in 1866 in connection with the emergence of railways. The company specializes in the repair of diesel locomotives and electric trains of various series.

In 1940-1950s Lengiprotrans developed a project for the restoration of the Daugavpils PVRZ, which was destroyed during the Great Patriotic War. Also, the Electrification Department of the Institute developed an author's design of a combined heat and power plant (CHP) at the enterprise.

In the postwar years "Lentransproekt" (since 1951 - "Lengiprotrans") carried out design work on the reconstruction of factories and the design of new ones in order to restore the country's industry. During this period, a project was developed for the workshop for rebuilding wheel pairs of steam locomotives and tenders of the German railways in Daugavpils.

During this period, the main elements of each plant project were:
• technological part;
• building part;
• plumbing: heating, ventilation, water supply and sewerage;

In the postwar years, Lentransproekt (since 1951 - Lengiprotrans) carried out design work to restore factories of various profiles. In particular, a project for the reconstruction of the Riga Electrotechnical Plant was developed.

During this period, the main elements of each plant project were:
• technological part;
• building part;
• plumbing: heating, ventilation, water supply and sewerage;
• energy part: power supply, heat supply and compressed air;
• communication;
• internal and external transport;
• general plan;

In the 1940s, Lentransproekt (since 1951 - Lengiprotrans) designed the restoration of the railway industry plants destroyed during the Great Patriotic War. In particular, a project was developed for the reconstruction of the Liepaja steam locomotive repair plant.

Krustpils is a junction station of the Latvian Railway, located within the city of Jēkabpils. Directions Riga - Daugavpils and Jelgava - Rezekne pass through it.

In the postwar years, Lentransproekt (since 1951 - Lengiprotrans) participated in the design of the restoration of water supply and sewerage facilities destroyed during the war. In particular, a reconstruction project was prepared at the Krustpils station.

In total, the institute carried out restoration work at 14 water supply and sewerage facilities in the Latvian SSR.

In 1950-1960s Lengiprotrans developed a project for a railway post office in Riga. At this facility, for the first time in the transport architecture, a large-span folded prefabricated reinforced concrete cover of the landing stage 8.85 m + 17.70 m + 8.85 m was used.

In connection with the successful project of the Riga post office, by the decision of the USSR Ministry of Communications and the USSR Ministry of Transport Construction, the design of post offices in Vologda and Saratov, Lengiprotrans was entrusted.

Ventspils is an out-of-class railway station on the Ventspils - Tukums II line of the Latvian Railway. Here the transfer of goods from sea vessels to the railroad is carried out.

In the postwar years, Lentransproekt (since 1951 - Lengiprotrans) participated in the design of the restoration of water supply and sewerage facilities destroyed during the war. In particular, a reconstruction project was prepared at Ventspils station.

In general, the institute carried out restoration work at 14 water supply and sewerage facilities in the Latvian SSR.

Tukums is a station on the Tornakalns - Tukums line of the Latvian Railway.

In 1940-1950s, the Department of Plants (now the Department of Industrial and Civil Buildings and Structures) of Lengiprotrans was engaged in the restoration of the depot at the stations destroyed during the Great Patriotic War. In particular, a project was developed for the reconstruction of the depot at the Tukums station.
