Development of Kokchetav station

Kokchetav (now Kokshetau) is a station of the Kazakhstan railway in the Akmola region of Kazakhstan. From here the trains follow in the direction of the stations: Zhanaturmys, Kzyl-Tu, Astana, Novoishimskaya.

Water supply networks were built at the station according to the Lengiprotrans project in 1955.

In the 1980s, the institute continued work on the development of the station, during which the following were designed:
• compressor station;
• equipment point for passenger trains and a transformer substation;
• devices for signaling and power supply;
• wagon scales and reinforced concrete bridge at 186 km.
