The railway line Leningrad - Zelenogorsk - Roshchino - Vyborg is the main section of the Vyborg direction of the Oktyabrskaya railway.
In the 1950s – 1960s, Lengiprotrans participated in the design of the electrification of the suburban sections of the St. Petersburg railway junction. During these years, the Leningrad - Zelenogorsk - Roshchino line was electrified, and later the electric traction was brought to Vyborg.
At the same time, high passenger platforms with checkout pavilions were being built. All this made it more comfortable for residents to move around the Leningrad Region.
In the 1970s, according to the project of the institute, the electrified section Leningrad - Vyborg was transferred to telecontrol.
