Electrification of the Kizel - Chusovskaya section

Railway line Kizel - Chusovskaya - a section of the Sverdlovsk railway. It was electrified in 1933 with the aim of transporting coal from the Kizelovsky coal basin to the industrial enterprises of the Urals. At that time, it was the longest electrified section of the Russian railway network. In 1940-1950s Lengiprotrans developed a project to strengthen electric traction devices on the line.
