In 1950-1960s Lengiprotrans developed a project for a railway post office in Riga. At this facility, for the first time in the transport architecture, a large-span folded prefabricated reinforced concrete cover of the landing stage 8.85 m + 17.70 m + 8.85 m was used.

In connection with the successful project of the Riga post office, by the decision of the USSR Ministry of Communications and the USSR Ministry of Transport Construction, the design of post offices in Vologda and Saratov, Lengiprotrans was entrusted.

In the same period, the institute developed a project for the reconstruction of the Riga railway station. For the work on the objects to the chief architect V.I. Kuznetsov was awarded the honorary title "Honored Builder of the Latvian SSR". _
