Electric depot TCh-5 "Nevskoye" is located on the Nevsko-Vasileostrovskaya line of the St. Petersburg metro, behind the station "Rybatskoye". It was built in 1986 according to the Lengiprotrans project.
Initially, the depot was intended to serve the Pravoberezhnaya metro line, the first stage of which was put into operation in 1985. The official opening of the Nevskoye depot took place in 1986.
In 1995-1996, due to an accident between the stations Lesnaya and Ploschad Muzhestva, the Severnoye depot was cut off from the Nevsko-Vasileostrovskaya line it served. As a result, the Nevskoye depot was entrusted with the maintenance of two metro lines. In 2000, the Vyborgskoye depot was opened to unload it, to which the trains of the Pravoberezhnaya line were transferred.
