In the late 1990s, Lengiprotrans developed a project for a two-level highway overpass at the intersection of Karl Marx and Leningradskaya Streets in Khabarovsk. This made it possible to relieve traffic jams in the city center, increase the throughput of a busy transport hub in the direction of the airport and improve the environmental situation in the adjacent residential area.
The design and construction of the facility was carried out in a dense urban area saturated with overground and underground communications. Because of this, the on-site construction support project team made adjustments to the documentation for the support structures.
The length of the overpass with 4 ramps is 854 m. Reinforced concrete spans 12-24 m long are used at the facility.
On October 20, 2000, the overpass was put into operation.
