Stopping point Leninsky Prospekt is located on the Baltic (St. Petersburg - Kalische and St. Petersburg - Gatchina) and Luga (St. Petersburg - Gatchina - Siverskaya - Luga) directions of the Oktyabrskaya railway.
The project of the stopping point was prepared by Lengiprotrans in order to develop passenger facilities of the Leningrad (now St. Petersburg) railway junction in 1960-1970.
