Born on October 8, 1959 in Leningrad.
In 1981 he graduated from the Ulyanovsk Guards Higher Tank Command twice Red Banner Order of the Red Star School named after V.I. Lenin, specializing in "Command tactical, wheeled and tracked vehicles."
Served in the Army Forces of the USSR, in the state security agencies in the Central Asian Military District, in the Western Group of Forces and in the Moscow Military District. He retired with the rank of major in 1996. From 1996 to 2009, he held the positions of an expert, a category 1 expert, a leading expert, and a chief expert in the security and information protection department in the Main Department of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation in the Voronezh Region. In 2010, he was appointed head of the information security department at FSUE Sevzapgeoinform. From 2011 to 2015, he worked as Deputy Director of the Branch for Security at the Lengiprotransput Institute.
Since 2015, he has been holding the position of Director for Security and Economic Affairs at Lengiprotrans.
Nikolai Grigorievich's work was awarded:
• Acknowledgment of the Main Department of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation in the Voronezh Region (2003);
• Gratitude from FSUE Sevzapgeoinform (2011).
