In 1935, "Lentransproekt" (since 1951 - "Lengiprotrans") worked on the railway facilities of the Ukrainian SSR. The project of the Popasnyansky Car Repair Plant, one of such facilities, was developed with the aim of carrying out all types of repairs of passenger and freight cars to increase the working fleet of cars, as well as to ensure traffic safety during the operation of the car fleet.

The project of strengthening retaining walls, subgrade and structures on the section Delyatin - Rakhov - state border was developed by the Department of Engineering Geology "Lengiprotrans" in 1976-1981.
In 1950-1970, the former Department of Lengiprotrans Plants participated in the design of facilities related to the post-war reconstruction of the railway industry, the development of production capacities of transport facilities, the transfer of railways from steam traction to diesel locomotive, the development of construction industry facilities and the design of special enterprises.
During this period, the department developed a project for a car repair plant in Kiev, intended for the repair of all-metal cars.
In the 1970s, Lengiprotrans engineers designed a base for the repair of metro cars in Kiev. The facility was created with the aim of organizing all types of metro car repairs in order to return them to service as soon as possible. The implementation of the project ensured the safety of the metro rolling stock and, as a result, passengers.
