Born on June 14, 1972 in the city of Svetogorsk, Vyborgsky District, Leningrad Region.
In 1994 he graduated from the St. Petersburg State University of Railways with a degree in Organization of Transportation and Management of Railway Transport. In parallel with his studies, since 1991, he worked as a duty officer at the station Kamennogorsk, Lyuban and stations of the Leningrad node.
From 1995 to 1998, he was deputy head of the Kamennogorsk station, traffic inspector, deputy head of the St. Petersburg transportation department for technical work. From 1998 to 2003, he worked at the St. Petersburg-Sortirovochny-Moskovsky station in the positions of deputy station chief, chief engineer, station chief. In 2004–2005 he was the chief engineer of the transportation service of the October railway.
In 2005 he entered Lengiprotrans as head of the department of nodes and stations. Since 2016 he has been working as a Deputy General Director for Production.
