Vilnius is a railway station in the capital of Lithuania. The following directions pass through it: St. Petersburg-Baltic - Vilnius, Moscow-Smolenskaya - Kaliningrad-Passenger, Vilnius - Lida, Vilnius - Marcinkonis.
In the period 1956-1970, Lengiprotrans designed signaling and communication devices at the station. Relay centralization with route control of switches and signals was introduced, the technology of automation, telemechanics and communication devices was improved.
This contributed to ensuring a high level of train traffic safety, increasing the capacity of the station, strengthening power supply devices and improving the quality of staff work.
