Tornakalns - a railway station in the Tornakalns microdistrict of the Zemgale suburb of Riga. The railway lines Tornakalns - Tukums II and Riga - Jelgava pass through it.
In the 1980s, Lengiprotrans developed a project for the modernization of electrical interlocking devices (EC) of the station with 38 switches. This contributed to ensuring a high level of train traffic safety, increasing the station's capacity, strengthening power supply devices and creating comfortable working conditions for personnel.
