Railway station at Kalinin station

Вокзал на станции Калинин

Kalinin station (renamed Tver station in 1998) is a large transport hub of the Oktyabrskaya railway. The historic station building at the station was built in the middle of the 19th century. Since the 1970s, Lengiprotrans has been developing a project for a new station building for 900 passengers.

In 1991, a new station was opened, located on the opposite side of the railway, opposite the old station building. The old and new buildings were connected by an underground passage.

Employees of Lengiprotrans also developed a project for a pedestrian tunnel at the station. And in the future they were engaged in the development of the Tver railway junction.
