Organization of high-speed movement of passenger trains on the section of the Tashkent-Samarkand railway line

Project Status:
Ташкент — Самарканд

The Tashkent-Samarkand railway line is the second high-speed line in the CIS after the Moscow-St. Petersburg line. The line connects the 2 largest cities of Uzbekistan.

As part of the organization of high-speed passenger traffic on the Tashkent-Samarkand highway, Lengiprotrans has developed technical solutions for the development of signaling and communication devices for a high-speed mode of up to 250 km / h on the Yangier-Novy-Jizzak section.

In 2011, high-speed trains "Afrosiyob" were launched on the Tashkent-Samarkand line. As a result, the train travel time between cities was reduced from 8 to 2 hours.
