Double-track inserts with centralized dispatching at the Tselinograd - Kokchetav section

Tselinograd - Kokchetav (now Astana - Kokshetau) is a meridional line connecting the South Siberian and Central Siberian lines in Kazakhstan.

In the 1970s, Lengiprotrans developed a project for the reconstruction of the line with the laying of second tracks. In the same period, the institute designed double-track inserts on the site with centralized dispatching for 429 switches.

The length of the double-track inserts is 183 km.
The length of dispatch centralization is 297 km.
