Large oil port on the Baltic Sea
In 1984-1985, Lengiprotrans participated in the design of the Klaipeda-Mukran ferry crossing to ensure transit traffic between the USSR and the CMEA countries (Council for Mutual Economic Assistance). Within the framework of the project, in 1985, the production base of the Balttransstroy trust was designed to organize the construction of a ferry crossing.
Trust "Balttransstroy" is an organization of the USSR Ministry of Transport Construction, which carried out the construction of transport facilities on the territory of the Baltic republics and the Kaliningrad region. For construction, the trust used its own production facilities.
