On May 13, 1935, the Leningrad branch of Soyuztransproekt was founded, now — JSC Lengiprotrans. Since then, thousands of transport infrastructure facilities have been built based on the institute’s designs: railways and roads, railway terminals, stations, bridges, depots, and energy supply systems. Every year, employees compile photo albums for their reports, which depict the most important projects they are working on. These photographs became the basis of the calendar.
However, the calendar is not only a tribute to memory for the heritage of previous generations of engineers. This is a look into the future that is being created today.
Each page reflects one decade, one era in the history of the institute. The images show projects and people brought together by the railways and Lengiprotrans.
