The Nyandoma diesel locomotive depot is located on the Konosha - Arkhangelsk line, which is part of the Northern Railway (SZD). At present, it is divided into the operational locomotive depot TChE-13 Nyandoma and the repair locomotive depot TChR-35 Nyandoma-Severnaya. The enterprise undergoes maintenance and repair of diesel and electric locomotives from all over the SZD.
In 1950-1970, the former Department of Lengiprotrans plants developed a project for the reconstruction of the Nyandoma depot in connection with the transfer of the railway from steam traction to diesel locomotive.
