The port of Ust-Luga is one of the largest infrastructure facilities in the Leningrad Region. The development of approaches to the sea port of Ust-Luga will ensure the delivery of goods by rail to the southern shore of the Gulf of Finland in the Luga Bay.
PJSC Lengiprotrans (1520 Group) has been general contracting organization for the design of external railway approaches to the port of Ust-Luga and the intraport stations since 2002. The total building area of Ust-Luga railway junction is 930 ha; of these, 270 ha account for a sorting station. The total track length of the railway junction after completion of construction will be more than 300 km. Ust-Luga railway junction was completed.
