Positive conclusion of VSM-2

On April 9, 2018, the FAU "Glavgosexpertiza of Russia" approved a positive conclusion on the 6th stage of the design of the complex of works for the construction of the high-speed railway "Moscow - Kazan - Yekaterinburg" (HSM-2) at the section of st. Vladimir VSM - Station VSM Airport (Nizhny Novgorod). 

Specialists of PJSC Lengiprotrans (part of the 1520 Group of Companies) developed technical and structural solutions for the construction of highway structures in this section, including the plan and longitudinal profile of the section, subgrade and ballastless structure of the superstructure of the track, artificial structures and contact network. In the process of performing the work, not only specialists of specialized specialties were involved, but also the department of engineering geology, a group of engineering and hydrometeorological surveys, and a technical department. 

Chief Project Engineer Rinat Ravilevich Enikeev notes the well-coordinated work of colleagues: “Considering the difficult situation with the initial data for the design provided by the general designer - the Consortium of design companies VSM-2, in the course of work, we had to repeatedly change technical solutions and correct the project documentation. 

Despite the ambiguity of the engineering problems faced by our designers, the groups led by K.V. Gorbunov, I. M. Kolpakova, A. A. Sazonova, P.V. Petukhova, I.A. Ermakova, N.V. Samuilikovich, V.V. Levshina brilliantly completed the assigned tasks. I would especially like to note the work of the estimate department and its groups, headed by the chief specialists S.N. Grigorieva, A.K. Zentsova, V.B. Fighting. A worthy help was provided by the chief specialists of the technical department A.P. Petrov and V.N. Kretov. Special thanks to the employees of the Printing Services Department headed by A.Yu. Malyshev, without whom the completed documentation would not have acquired the required format and would not have been handed over to the customer in due time. 

I would like to note that the previously developed "Justification of investments in the construction of high-speed railways-2 and high-speed rail Center-South" in 2013, where Lengiprotrans acted as the general designer, formed the basis for the design documentation developed for the first time for highways of this class.

Evaluating the results of the work performed during the implementation of this project at the stage of development of working documentation and construction, the specialists of PJSC Lengiprotrans should take leading positions. " 

ВСМ-2 is included in the "Strategy for the development of railway transport in the Russian Federation until 2030" approved by the order of the Government of the Russian Federation dated June 17, 2008 No. 877-r and "Transport strategy of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030".

According to Oleg Belozerov, General Director of Russian Railways, the high-speed trunk line on the Moscow-Kazan section may be put into operation in 2022-2023.
