Celebration dedicated to the 78th anniversary of lifting the siege of Leningrad

On January 27, a solemn event dedicated to the 78th anniversary of the complete lifting of the siege of Leningrad was held at the Wall of Memory in JSC Lengiprotrans (part of the 1520 Group of Companies).

On the third floor at the Wall of Memory, the Institute's staff gathered to honor the memory of those who died during the defense and blockade of the city.

The HR Director Maria Anatolyevna Uniyat opened the ceremony with a speech.She urged to remember the feat of Leningraders, and read a poem written by the head of the museum, a veteran of JSC Lengiprotrans Alexander Yakovlevich Mazo.

The opening speech was crowned with a minute of silence, after which, in solemn silence, flowers were laid.

After General Director Dmitry Viktorovich Golybovsky told about the hardships that fell on the war years and did not spare heartfelt words for the feat of prospectors, engineers and builders. Separately, Dmitry Viktorovich dwelled on the heroes of the Third Division of the People's Militia, in which the Institute's employees fought on the frontiers from Pushkin to Pulkovo.

The ceremony ended with a reading of poems by the Soviet poet Yuri Voronov, who survived the blockade.
