FAI Glavgosexpertiza has approved the adjustments made to the Tikhoretskaya station reconstruction project during the implementation of the first stage. The documentation was developed by specialists of Lengiprotrans JSC (part of the NPS).

Tikhoretskaya station is a junction marshalling yard of the North Caucasian Railway. At the moment, in order to increase its capacity, large-scale reconstruction of receiving and dispatch fleets, modernization of electrical centralization systems (EC) and other works are underway.
The first stage provided for the reconstruction of the Yard C with the extension of the receiving tracks to a useful length of 1050 m and the replacement of the EC. In 2022, the facility was put into temporary operation. In subsequent years, minor construction and installation work was carried out, during which, on the instructions of the customer, changes were made to the project, as well as to the estimated part of the construction project. The institute's specialists made appropriate adjustments to the documentation, and in July a positive conclusion was received from Glavgosexpertiza.
As of today, all design solutions for Tikhoretskaya station have been implemented.
Comprehensive design management was carried out by Sergey Viktorovich Malofeev, Chief Project Engineer of the Nodes and Stations Department.
The upgrade of the railway infrastructure of the station will increase the capacity of the Kotelnikovo — Tikhoretskaya — Korenovsk — Timashevskaya — Krymskaya section towards the ports of the Azov-Black Sea basin, ensuring the passage of additional 59.8 million tons of cargo through the station.
