On December 5, within the framework of the "Transport Week-2017", the III Congress of Railroad Builders was held.
The event was attended by representatives of SROs, design, construction and other organizations of railway infrastructure, including representatives of other states.
Within the framework of the Congress a panel discussion "Application of Information Modeling Technologies for the Creation of Railway Transport Infrastructure Objects" was held.
One of the speakers of the discussion was Dmitry Viktorovich Golubovsky, general director of PJSC "Lengiprotrans" (part of the 1520 Group of Companies). Dmitriy Viktorovich made a presentation "Information Modeling of Railway Infrastructure" and spoke about the application of BIM-technologies in "Lengiprotrans" when designing linear objects.
The question of application of information modeling in the creation of the railway infrastructure is of interest to its representatives all over the world. Jean-Pierre Lubin, general director of the International Union of Railways, said this in a video message. "The future is not only for BIM-technologies, but also for the unification and support of researchers and suppliers," Jean-Pierre Lubin stressed.
