Conference "Engineering seismic survey 2018"

On October 24 - 26, a scientific and practical conference "Engineering seismic survey 2018" was held in Moscow. On behalf of PJSC Lengiprotrans, the conference was attended by the head of the geophysics group Kirill Sergeevich Kalayev.

Specialists in the field of engineering and geophysical research of the Institute of Physics of the Earth named after V.I. O.Yu. Schmidt RAS, Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov, Institute of Cryosphere of the Earth SB RAS, who shared the prospects for the development of geophysical methods, as well as the specifics of data integration and processing, depending on external conditions, goals and objectives.

The topic of studies of the relationship between the parameters of the seismic field and the geological environment, which depend on its physical, deformation and strength properties, was widely covered. In connection with the entry into force on November 25, 2018 of the joint venture 14.13330.2018 "Construction in seismic regions", the topic of seismic microzoning (SMZ) was vigorously discussed, in particular the problem of "regulatory chaos" of the Russian construction and installation work. It was noted that a staging of work is required and it is impossible to correctly perform seismic microzoning until the completion of geotechnical surveys (IGI) - drawing up normative tables of engineering-geological elements, maps of engineering-geological zoning - since only based on the results of IGI it is possible to analyze engineering-geological factors for CMP. Within the framework of the conference, a field demonstration of equipment from leading domestic manufacturers took place, where in real time the application of the latest developments in the field of seismic exploration and ground penetrating radar was presented with the ability to assess the quality of the material obtained.

The conference was held in a friendly atmosphere, with the opportunity to discuss topics of interest and exchange experience in conducting geophysical research.
