Alexey Petrovich Konyukhov

Born on October 15, 1953 in Leningrad. In 1976 he graduated from the Leningrad Order of Lenin Institute of Railway Engineers named after Academician V.N. Obraztsov with a degree in Railway Construction, Track and Track Facilities.

After graduation, he was assigned to Lengiprotrans. From 1976 to 1997, he held the positions of an engineer in the department of survey and design of railways, senior engineer, head of the party, head of the group, deputy chief engineer of the project, chief engineer of the project, deputy head of the department, head of the department of survey and design of railways. In 1998 he was appointed to the position of Deputy General Director for the organization of surveys of JSC Lengiprotrans.

Alexey Petrovich participated in the design of the most important state facilities: the Baikal-Amur Mainline, the Northern Latitudinal Railway (Obskaya — Bovanenkovo ​​line), Ladozhsky Railway Station in St. Petersburg. In 1982 he was sent to Syria to design the Tartus — Latakia railway.

For about 20 years he has been teaching at the St. Petersburg University of Railways of Emperor Alexander I at the Department of Research and Design of Railways.
