In February 2020, JSC Lengiprotrans (part of the 1520 Group of Companies) received a positive conclusion from the FAI Glavgosexpertiza (GGE) on the second stage of the project "Extension of existing and construction of additional receiving and departure tracks at Vysotsk station of the Oktyabrskaya Railway". On February, 18th a positive conclusion was issued on the design documentation and the results of engineering surveys, and on February, 20th — at the estimated cost.
The second stage of the Vysotsk station reconstruction envisages lengthening and electrification of the exhaust track in the odd neck, which will allow the locomotive to leave from under the arriving train from all tracks and thereby organize an impersonal specialization of the receiving and departure fleet.
The design management was carried out by the chief engineer of the project of the department of nodes and stations of JSC Lengiprotrans Sergey Vladimirovich Kulkov. Financing of the construction and installation works will be provided by JSC Russian Railways with a share of LLC Port Vysotsky.
A positive opinion on the first stage was received in January 2020.
