On April 5, in St. Petersburg, within the framework of the "Week of Germany 2019", a discussion was held on the topic "Solutions to transport problems in Germany: modeling and evaluation of effects." On behalf of PJSC Lengiprotrans (part of the 1520 Group of Companies), the discussion was attended by Deputy Chief Engineer - Head of the Unit and Station Department Sergey Olegovich Ivanov.
The main purpose of the meeting is to draw attention to the fact that a comprehensive solution of interrelated problems of transport, land use, ecology and economics is the main principle that underlies the transport policy of Germany and the European Union.
Artem Korzhenevich, professor of the Dresden Technical University and the head of the project "Transformation towards emission-free urban transport in Dresden and St. Petersburg", made a presentation at the event.
During the discussion, the executive authorities of St. Petersburg and the expert community discussed how applicable in Russia the experience of Germany and the European Union in solving transport problems.
