The Irtyshskoe - Karasuk railway line is the eastern section of the Central Siberian Railway. It was built according to the Lengiprotrans project in the late 1950s.
At the same time, a railway bridge across the Irtysh River was designed on the line. The bridge is located on the navigable section of the river. The pillars of the structure were designed taking into account the device in the perspective of the bridge for the second track.
In 1980-1983, the Lengiprotrans bridges department realized the perspective - a bridge for the second track was designed using the previously built supports. The project used bored concrete piles with a widened heel, new at that time.
