Department of Electrical Engineering

In the 1990s, Lengiprotrans developed a project for the electrification of the single-track section Chudovo - Novgorod (since 1999 - Veliky Novgorod) of the Oktyabrskaya Railway. Here, for the first time at the stations, a compensated suspension of the overhead system is provided, which made it possible in the future to transfer the section to high-speed traffic without reconstructing the overhead system.

The Danilov - Bui - Svecha railway line is a section of the Northern Railway. In 1960-1970, Lengiprotrans developed a project for the electrification of this section within the framework of the 1956 decree “On the General Plan for the Electrification of Railways”.

When designing electric traction devices, it was envisaged:
• maximum use of reinforced concrete overhead supports;
• widespread use of rigid cross-members instead of expensive flexible ones with significant metal consumption;

The Pavlovsk - Novolisino railway line is a suburban section of the Leningrad railway junction and is part of the Oktyabrskaya railway.

Lengiprotrans developed a project for the electrification of the site within the framework of the 1956 decree “On the general plan for the electrification of railways”. At the same time, work was underway to build high passenger platforms with checkout pavilions at the stations.

When designing electric traction devices, it was envisaged:
• maximum use of reinforced concrete overhead supports;

The line Leningrad-Sortirovochny-Moskovsky - Ruchyi - Pargolovo - suburban sections of the Leningrad railway junction, is part of the Oktyabrskaya railway.

In the 1970s, according to the Lengiprotrans project, the Leningrad-Sortirovochny-Moskovsky - Pargolovo section was electrified. Since 1971, the design was carried out, in 1972 the issuance of working drawings for the electrification of a complex section located within Leningrad with a crossing over a metal railway bridge across the Neva River was completed. In 1973 the site was put into operation.

In 1950–1960, the electrification of the suburban sections of the Leningrad railway junction was widely carried out in accordance with the 1956 decree "On the general plan for the electrification of railways." During these years, the suburban line Lanskaya - Sestroretsk - Beloostrov was electrified under the Lengiprotrans project.

Later, in the process of introducing new achievements in the field of automation, telemechanics, communications and radio, a semi-automatic blocking with traffic light signaling was designed on the line.

TCh-1 Avtovo is a depot on the Kirovsko-Vyborgskaya line of the Petersburg metro. This is the first metro depot in St. Petersburg, opened in 1955.

In the 1970s, Lengiprotrans developed a project to expand the rolling stock base of the St. Petersburg metro depot at Avtovo station. The project provided for the development of complex power electrical equipment, internal electrical lighting, external power supply and electrical parts of other devices, many dozen industrial and other premises of a large metro depot.

In the 1970s, Lengiprotrans developed a project for electrical interlocking with mechanization of the hump at Ülemiste station of the Estonian Railways. The object contains 151 arrows, 2 beams of hump automatic centralization.

In the 1970s Lengiprotrans developed a project for electrical interlocking (EC) at Radviliskis station. A route-relay EC is installed at the station, the object includes 274 arrows.

In the 1970s, Lengiprotrans developed a project for route-relay electrical interlocking (EC) for 85 switches at Daugavpils II station.

Svir is a docking station for direct and alternating current of the Oktyabrskaya railway. Lengiprotrans has developed a project for the station as part of the electrification of the Volkhovstroy - Idel - Svir railway in the direction of St. Petersburg - Murmansk.

The following structures are designed at the station:
• Depot for electric locomotives with a 4-storey centralized dispatching station.
• Water treatment facilities with a capacity of 200 m3 / day. The water purification scheme includes: preliminary oxidation, filtration in two stages, disinfection.
