In 1960-1970, according to the Lengiprotrans project, the Balkhash - Sayak railway line was built in the Kazakh SSR. Transport links were required to supply Sayak ore to the Balkhash mining and metallurgical plant (now Balkhashtsvetmet). In the same period, the architectural and construction department of the institute developed a project for the station at the Balkhash station.

In the 1970s, Lengiprotrans developed a project for the electrification of the Tselinograd (now Astana) - Ekibastuz section of the Tselinnaya railway.

At the Ekibastuz-I station, the following were designed: a sewage pumping station and treatment facilities.

Kokchetav (now Kokshetau) is a station of the Kazakhstan railway in the Akmola region of Kazakhstan. From here the trains follow in the direction of the stations: Zhanaturmys, Kzyl-Tu, Astana, Novoishimskaya.

Water supply networks were built at the station according to the Lengiprotrans project in 1955.

In the 1980s, the institute continued work on the development of the station, during which the following were designed:
• compressor station;
• equipment point for passenger trains and a transformer substation;

Kartaly — Tobol is a railway section providing transport links between Russia and Kazakhstan.

Automatic blocking on the line was designed by Lengiprotrans in 1958 during the development of virgin fallow lands in Kazakhstan and adjacent territories.

Tselinograd - Kokchetav (now Astana - Kokshetau) is a meridional line connecting the South Siberian and Central Siberian lines in Kazakhstan.

In the 1970s, Lengiprotrans developed a project for the reconstruction of the line with the laying of second tracks. In the same period, the institute designed double-track inserts on the site with centralized dispatching for 429 switches.

The length of the double-track inserts is 183 km.
The length of dispatch centralization is 297 km.

In the 1950s, Lengiprotrans developed a project for a new passenger station in Karaganda. This was due to the development of virgin fallow lands of the Kazakh SSR and the development of the coal industry.

During the construction of railways for the development of virgin lands in Kazakhstan Lengiprotrans developed a project for the state farm "Tselinogradsky" 25 km from Tselinograd (now Astana).

In 1970-1980, Lengiprotrans participated in the design of the Ekibastuz industrial area in the Kazakh SSR. This included the Ekibastuz GRES, the Vostochny and Bogatyrsky open-pit coal mines, and work on the track development of the hub.

In the industrial area, coal was loaded onto rolling stock for further transportation to coal-gathering stations. To this end, the institute has developed a project for the reconstruction of the Ekibastuz II station in combination with the external railway transport of the Vostochny open-pit mine.

During the Soviet period, Lengiprotrans took an active part in the design of new railway lines for the development of virgin lands in the Kazakh SSR. In the 1970s, the institute developed a project for the development of the station Tselinograd (now Astana) in the capital of the republic.

In the 1960s, Lengiprotrans developed a project for the Pavlodar-Sortirovochny station as part of the transport development of the virgin lands of the Kazakh SSR. The station is part of the South Siberian Railway.
