Железнодорожная линия Бурея — Комсомольск-на-Амуре

The Baikal-Amur Mainline, built in the 20th century, is still one of the largest transport construction projects in the world. "Lentransproekt" (since 1951 - "Lengiprotrans") from the moment of its formation took part in the design of the BAM. Design and survey work at BAM has a long history, consisting of several stages.

In 1937 "Lentransproekt" organized a complex expedition to carry out the final surveys of the Bureya (Ust-Niman) - Komsomolsk railway line. 6 complex parties worked on the track, including tunnel and hydrometric ones.

In 1938–1939, for the first time on the BAM within such a large territory, aerial photography was carried out.
